Overview

Life Cost Analyzer (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is a local-first personal finance utility that helps you record, organize, and review everyday living expenses. We designed the App so your financial information stays on your device by default.

We do not operate a cloud account for your expense records and we do not sell your personal financial data. On first launch, the App may ask for permission to track activity across other companies' apps and websites to improve analytics and spending insights.

Information You Provide

The App stores the following information locally on your device when you choose to use related features:

App Tracking Transparency (IDFA)

When you first open the App, you may see Apple's system dialog asking whether Life Cost Analyzer can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.

Device Permissions

The App requests access only when you use the related feature:

You can deny or revoke these permissions in iOS Settings at any time. Denying a permission limits only the related feature.

How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is saved locally on your iPhone or iPad using on-device storage. Analytics shown in the App — such as spending trends, category breakdowns, and budget performance — are calculated on your device from your own records.

Deleting the App removes locally stored data unless you have exported copies elsewhere. We recommend exporting important reports before uninstalling.

Sharing and Export

If you export a report card or share content through iOS share sheets, you control where that information goes. We do not receive copies of exported files unless you voluntarily send them to us through a support channel.

In-App Purchases

Point pack purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only the information required to confirm a successful purchase and credit points to your in-app balance. Payment details are handled by Apple and are not stored by us.

Point packs are consumable digital goods. Points are credited immediately after purchase and cannot be restored if you reinstall the App or switch devices.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us at support@lifecostanalyzer.com.

Data Security

Because your data remains on your device, you are responsible for securing your device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, or equivalent protection. We recommend keeping your iOS software up to date.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
